Is it true? Girls give up on love for their families?

I’m not quite sure about this. But I have this topic haunting my mind for a while now. I want to scribble this somewhere, so here it goes.

As my friends circle always have one hot topic to discuss, it is about their relationships

Why do Couples fall in love with partner from different religion??

Most of the relationship falls into “the hole” because of one most common reason. That is religion. I thought religion was made to unite people, but this is not how it it works, it has become a tool to separate two love birds from different community.

I’m not judging girls’ braveness but I have seen and experienced a lot of friend’s break-up. They call itself “mutual” break-up because their girl partner have suddenly realized that their relationship is never going to get a green signal from her family.  Seriously girls? Did you just realize this after two years spending and giving hopes to him??

First of all there is no “mutual” break-up unless it’s a fake love. There will be always one person who don’t want to let go no matter what, I would like to call him/her the unlucky love-bird, who thought his/her life is going to be a happy love story.

I’m not against girls who loves her family equally or more than their lover. But you should be able to realize it much before giving your lover a hope or a simple yes to his proposal.

People say that bad memories cause the most pain, but actually it’s the Good Ones that drives you INSANE!

I HATE THE HEADS-UP NOTIFICATION ON LOLLIPOP!

Lollipop was the much-awaited Android update so far, with lots of new features and complete new “Material Design” overhaul. I was also pretty excited after hearing the news of Android “L” and the follow-up that Motorola will bring this update to my Moto G. It took them a little while, but I finally got the Lollipop (5.0.2) update on my phone last weekend. The highlighted features of the Lollipop update included the so-called

  • Heads-up notification, and
  • Notification Lockscreen

Both of them are kinda familiar to the iOS users, but it’s new to Android. Heads-up notification notification means a little pop-up notification you get from apps on the top of the screen. But to be honest, I REALLY HATE THAT! It is very intrusive on most cases. I like the concept of Phone Calls getting heads-up, but third party apps too? The second most annoying thing about the change was, they have took away the sweet Notification tickers! Notification ticker is the (part of the) message that was shown on the notification tray when you receive a text. Now it is heads-up notification or just notification icon. They just killed the tickers and whoever thought heads-up notification was a good idea SHOULD BE FIRED! I really hate heads-up notification because, I’m a member of many unwanted WhatsApp group that I can’t leave, and whenever someone message that group it is shown as heads-up in front of any apps that I use. The major flaw in the Heads-up notification is that if you decide to swipe away the heads-up notification, IT IS GONE FOREVER! Seriously Google? You thought it was a good idea? If I get a notification from Twitter while texting someone and I swipe away that notification it is gone forever. Most of the cases, The heads-up from twitter (and many other apps) are pretty big to hide a part of the screen. The only option we got is to wait till 10 second till the heads-up notification disappears itself into the notification tray like a little kid. The only app that doesn’t follow this is the Incoming call Heads-up. One thing that I really like about the Lollipop update (apart from the sweet animations) is the addition of Notification in the Lockscreen. It is very productive in my opinion. They also added “Ambient Display” which will lit up the screen when a notification arrives. But I found that a little hard to get used to so I installed Screen notification. I also found a flaw the lockscreen notification which is quite annoying. The LED light will not turn off if we expands the notification tray from the lockscreen (by expand I mean from this to this). We have to dismiss the notification to turn off the LED notification. On KitKat the LED notification would turn off if we pull down the notification tray from the lockscreen. I’m not sure if this is bug in Lollipop or a bug from the Motorola. Hope Google will fix all these intrusive stuffs in the next release!

UPDATE!: Google has added (swipe to remind later/add to notification tray) in 5.1 update. Good guy Google! Here’s a video showing it off

UPDATE2: Android M adds option to disable “peeking.” It is now the new name for “Heads up notification”!

If a white guy said a comment about a black man based on skin colour everybody would have booed him and called him a racist, but if it’s a black guy making a comment about a white man then it’s funny and everybody laughs!
